Dear Reader,THE PROTECTORS is a space saga written to a young adult audience. The story takes us on a journey through the eyes of John Gordon, a 17 year old who, on the way back home from school, is abducted by an alien race. Totally disoriented, John finds out that he has been drafted as a soldier into an interstellar war that has been raging for centuries, to which he holds the power to end. The story explores the battle between John's destiny and John's emotions which I think is the greatest conflict in any young person's life.
