Dear Librarians,

When we think "legendary trial lawyer," we usually think Clarence Darrow, Johnnie Cochran or Atticus Finch, all men. In THE BORZOI KILLINGS, our central character is a female: Raquel Rematti, the charismatic, fearless attorney navigating the trial of the century. In this, I pay homage to all the great women who've profoundly impacted me to become the lawyer that I am today. In Raquel, I see my inspirations, hopefully, you'll see yours as well.
