James R. Benn

Dear Librarian,

One thing I appreciate about historical mysteries is that you actually learn something while researching and writing a novel. I thought I knew everything about the struggle for Irish independence, but I found out more than I had bargained for. Like my main character, I ended up with more questions than answers, and more uncertainty than I began with.

I think your patrons will enjoy this journey of self discovery. Those who have followed the Billy Boyle WWII mystery series will especially be interested in Evil For Evil, which brings Billy to his ancestral homeland, challenging his loyalty and beliefs.

Please email me at jrb@jamesrbenn.com with any questions, and be sure to email marketing@sohopress.com to enter to win one of 5 signed copies of the book.

Cordially,
James R. Benn
