Dear Librarian, I'm the author of STUNNED: The New Generation of Women Having Babies, Getting Angry and Creating a Mother's Movement being published in Spring 2009. It's a book about the generation of women who grew up on the coattails of the 1970s feminists, in a world where we got to do and be all the same things as the boys. But upon becoming mothers, many of us have discovered just how unequal things remain both inside the home and in the world at large. In STUNNED I document my journey into motherhood while telling the stories of anger and unfairness experienced by other mothers. All of this is put into the context of what experts and studies are telling us about the reality of women's lives both here and around the world.
