Dear Librarian, Some things that happen to you are just too good to keep to yourself. I had been keeping a diary of my Santa Claus encounters for a couple of seasons when I told someone about some of those adventures. They made the age-old comment, "You should write a book." I began to keep my diary in earnest and after a couple more years I began to flesh out my notes and write out these stories. I let some friends read what I had and they all encouraged me to keep going. Then one of those friends offered to help me self-publish my manuscript. The resultant soft cover book made it into the hands of an editor at Baker Publishing and she asked if Baker could do the book up right and publish it as a Revell Book.
