I'm excited to share my novel with you. I spent 5 years researching the true tradition that allows a woman to swear to a remain a virgin her entire life and in exchange live with the social privileges and legal rights as a man.

The story takes place in 1910 Albania. Faraway and long ago... but the conversation about what it means to be a woman, and who decides this, is more important now than ever.
