Elizabeth Flock
Dear Librarian,
Say you are talking to your girlfriends about marriage or dating or sex or love and someone shares an unbelievable story with the group. Invariably, someone else says "OMG, they ought to write a book about that!"?
Yes, well, I wrote that book. And it started exactly like that.
Samantha Friedman is a stay-at-home mom who realizes her life has become a routine of errands and car pools. Is this it? she wonders. Is this how my life is supposed to turn out? Meanwhile, Cammy Friedman, her teenaged daughter, is drifting into dangerous territory with questionable friends. Will they save themselves? Will they wake up?
SLEEPWALKING IN DAYLIGHT was chosen by Independent Booksellers for the Indie Next List (March, 2009). Oh, and the Denver Post says:
"SLEEPWALKING IN DAYLIGHT is a finely wrought heartbreaker of a novel. Flock writes in compulsively readable prose...shoot[ing] a quiver of arrows straight to the heart."
Please visit my website (www.elizabethflock.com) and let me know what you think. About anything. I'd love to hear from you.
All my best,
Elizabeth
