It has been selected as a "Book Sense Pick" for November by the American Booksellers Assocation. I wrote THE CONTRACTOR because I'm a concerned American who thinks we've taken a seriously wrong turn in our policies toward torture. It's the story of George Young, a solid family man and Gulf War veteran who accepts work as a private contractor who interrogates detainees.
