Lyn LeJeune

Dear Librarian,

I grew up in New Orleans. For personal reasons, the downtown public library was my sanctuary. It is not maudlin to state that a piece of my heart is still there. After Katrina, I completed THE BEATITUDES, started The Beatitudes Network to help rebuild the libraries, and am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation.

Social workers Hannah "Scrimp" DuBois and Earlene "Pinch" Washington start their own business, Social Investigations, to solve the murders of foster children in New Orleans. The NOPD, the Catholic Church, and politicians have sidestepped clues. Pinch and Scrimp know they are dealing with paranormal forces that lead to The Beatitudes and then to the murderers.

Check out www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com and read about the other great authors who are supporting The Beatitudes Network, such as Julie Smith, Alafair Burke, Ken Bruen, A.L. Kennedy, Sara Gran, and M.J. Rose.
