DYING TO DO LETTERMAN is about the most scheduled day of our lives: Someday. That's the day when all of our dreams get scheduled. For most people Someday never comes.

I am a stand-up comedian who was diagnosed with incurable cancer and told I might only have five years to live. After I picked up the pieces from that shocking diagnosis, I decided it was time to make Someday happen.

This book is not a sad tale about cancer, but rather a true, humorous, life-fulfilling, reminder about the importance of chasing your dreams. It's a wake-up call I want to share with everyone: It's NOT how much time you have, it's what you do with it.
