Dear Librarians,

FACES OF HOPE: 10 YEARS LATER is the sequel to Faces of Hope, Babies Born on 9/11. In the original book we saw the innocent faces of babies born on one of the darkest days in history. In the updated book we see the faces of the energetic ten year olds they have become. As babies we made wishes for their futures hoping that they would have childhoods filled with all that is good. In the updated book they speak for themselves, with confidence and determination as to how they will make the world a better place.

Following the same children, we see the passage of time. They came into the world on the most tragic of days, providing just a glimmer of hope at a time that seemed almost hopeless. Knowing that those lost will never be forgotten or replaced it is still possible to be inspired by the circle of life and in particular by those brought to us on that day.
