Dear Librarian, In my upcoming novel, THE DRAGONSLAYER’S SWORD, a female blacksmith lives in a world of shape changers, dragons, and ghosts. When her world implodes, she must decide who she is before she can stand up inside her own skin. I first wrote THE DRAGONSLAYER’S SWORD as a short story, which was published in Science Fiction Age magazine. My story ranked 2nd in that magazine’s first Readers Top Ten poll and received many recommendations for the Nebula Award. In fact, I wrote the novel because readers were requesting it at bookstores! Please let your patrons know about my “Countdown to Publication” contest – I’m giving away a different prize every month in 2007.
