Dianne Ochiltree
Dear Librarian,
I think the publisher sums it up perfectly when describing my story as “a celebration of the love a family shares at bedtime.” With its gentle rhymes, lilting read-aloud rhythm, and cozy illustrations of a toddler’s world, I believe it’s a book that grownups will want to share with their own ‘little ones’ every night.
The book opens as Mommy and Daddy start the nightly bedtime routine for their little one with a lull-a-bye at the dinner table. But before drifting off to sleep, there’s so much for a busy toddler to do! There’s ‘splash-a-bye’ in the tub; ‘rock-a-bye’ with silly games ‘hush-a-bye’ with stories and snuggles; then one last ‘lull-a-bye’ before turning off the lights.
