Martha Powers
Dear Librarian,
When I was growing up, I practically lived in the library and, when I started writing, I did all my research there. My local librarians were a source of advice and encouragement. Thank you all for the support you’ve given me over the years.
DEATH ANGEL deals with the nightmare of a woman whose child has been murdered and her husband is suspected of the crime. In her search for justice, she becomes the target of the killer. It’s very much in the tradition of Mary Higgins Clark, where the subject matter is treated with delicacy and the suspense is pitched high through sharp characterization.
Publishers Weekly calls DEATH ANGEL a “gripping mix of a smalltown police procedural with a snazzy woman-in-jeopardy plot.”
I never charge libraries for speaking so if you’re near Vero Beach, Florida feel free to contact me at my website www.marthapowers.com.
My best,
Martha
