Occasionally, a book is inspired by an actual dream. This year's Christmas novella was whispered to me from a dream so intriguing that I had to write it down. I didn't fully understand the dream at first, but as I began to write, the characters sprang to life, a story unfolded, and an important but mysterious character emerged from the shadows to shed light on the true meaning of Christmas.
