Robin Easton
Dear Reader,
NAKED IN EDEN is an eco-adventure story. It plunges readers into a wild journey through an ancient Australian rainforest as they challenge raging streams, tackle leech infested mud holes, encounter deadly snakes, and share paths with wallabies and feral pigs. NAKED IN EDEN is like Into the Wild with a positive ending. As the reader discovers stinging trees, poisonous jellyfish and bird eating spiders, they're invited to face their fear, learn to embrace nature's life-and-death struggles, and fall in love with the wild to become part of rather than apart from nature.
This book illustrates a healing, life altering relationship that humans can have with nature.
Having grown up with mild autism and having healed myself in the rainforest, I begin to question if the growing epidemic of autism and ADD/ADHD may be related to our current disconnection from the wild.
Thank you,
Robin Easton
