Dear Reader,

Transformation is a beautiful thing. Scary, yes, and a bit messy at times, but beautiful nonetheless. I'm sure that some of my artsy friends will be embarrassed by my very public embrace of a religion. . . . After all, hearing a friend tell you that he or she has just "found God" can be as unsettling as hearing a loved one utter "I've started writing poetry."

These phrases make us uncomfortable because the poet and the proselytizer are so embarrassingly sincere about what they're willing to share. We squirm because our friends have suddenly changed, speaking in a manner that stands in stark contrast to the reserved and closely guarded ways in which we're used to hearing them communicate. So get ready to squirm.

Ultimately, RIDICULOUS PACKAGING is intended to inspire readers. By using the details of my own flawed life, I have tried to show readers that God never gives up on us, and that transformation and rebirth are possible for anyone with an open heart.

I'd like to invite you to visit my book's web site where you can find a book description, review quotes, my author event schedule, and other information. I'll be giving away signed copies of RIDICULOUS PACKAGING and $3 Starbucks Coffee cards as well. To win, visit the book's web site or write me at: mwright@cowley.org

Get caught reading…RIDICULOUS PACKAGING.
