Layne Maheu

Dear Reader,

My first novel, SONG OF THE CROW, is the story of The Flood of Noah's Ark told from the perspective of a crow. Robert Hicks, author of Widow of the South, calls it, "Beautifully written and artfully imagined." I hope you'll agree, and I'm giving away 10 free books on my web site, www.songofthecrow.com, on a first come, first served basis. Click on the email caitlin@unbridledbooks.com to make your request.

In the book, I've given the ancient Biblical Flood story a new twist. As the Bible has it, before Noah sends out the dove, he sends out the crow's cousin, the raven, to find land. In my story, Noah, an old man with failing eyesight, confuses the raven and the crow. What did the crow find, if he didn't find land?

I hope, when you pick up this book, that you will feel the deep satisfaction I had in writing it.

Thanks for your support.
