Dear Reader, I think I am a writer because I like to listen to characters speaking and I love to interview them and then dictate what they say and remember all the details. I love how they can't really tell me what's bothering them directly so it's a mystery to discover that as they divulge more and more. I was an actor before I started writing so maybe this is part of it. To take on another persona or something and get out of my own skin. Once I get into a character I want to bleed them like a leech.
