Other kids loved how big dinosaurs were but I loved thinking about how every giant was once a tiny baby! My grandparents were scientists who studied birds of prey, and as a youngster I imagined I was feeding a baby dinosaur when I helped care for baby hawks. By the time I was fifteen, I got myself a job on a dinosaur dig and spent three summers digging fossils for the Tyrrell Museum in Canada. I still love dinosaurs!
