Dear Reader: Callie Jones stumbled into my head one day, quite by accident, and then refused to leave. From the moment Callie appeared, I loved her. She was funny/sad, confident/doubtful, brash/timid, but most of all independent. She had a story to tell, a story so captivating that I knew Callie had to have a book of her own.
