APPOINTMENT WITH YESTERDAY explores how alienation, war, immigration and cultural diversities may cause extreme pain, emotional breakdowns, and conflicted relationships among family members. As the story evolves, it further demonstrates how time, perseverance, love and a sense of self-preservation can conquer hardships and even tragedy.

In essence, this story celebrates the "sweetness of life," as it sails towards the safety of a calm and welcoming harbor after fighting angry seas, unchartered waters and hidden shoals.
