Dear Librarian, Thank you for the great support you've shown me on my first two novels, WALKING MONEY and SHOCK WAVE. I try to accept any offer to speak at "friends of the library" functions in my area and have found them to quite rewarding. My new novel, ESCAPE CLAUSE, has state cop Bill Tasker investigating a murder at a state prison in Florida only to find that there is so much more going on at Manatee Correctional. Booklist called it an "explosive sequel". The reaction to it has been a real rush. I've tried to make each book different from the others. Even though it is a series, I recognize that readers don't necessarily want the same thing over and over.
