Karen Favreau
Dear Librarian,
I am a Generation-X seeker who has run the spiritual gamut. Raised Catholic, I lapsed into atheism and began a long, strange journey back to Christian faith. I chronicle this trip in RIDICULOUS PACKAGING: or, my long, strange journey from atheist to Episcopalian, in two acts; a humorous, non-preachy and heartfelt memoir in which I attempt to decipher why a cynical, thirty-something atheist would open her heart and accept God after having spent an entire lifetime running away from him.
Ultimately, RIDICULOUS PACKAGING is intended to inspire readers. By using the details of my own flawed life, I have tried to show readers that God never gives up on us, and that transformation and rebirth are possible for anyone with an open heart.
