Layne Maheu

Dear Librarian,

My first novel, SONG OF THE CROW, is the story of The Flood of Noah's Ark told from the perspective of a crow. As the Bible has it, before Noah sends out the dove, he sends out the crow's cousin, the raven, to find land. In my story, Noah, an old man with failing eyesight, confuses the raven and the crow. What did the crow find, if he didn't find land? Robert Hicks, author of Widow of the South, calls my book, "Beautifully written and artfully imagined."

I'd love to work on events in the Pacific NW, and I'm available for book group meetings in person or via phone. Also, I'm happy to donate 10 copies total of my book to each of the first three book groups from libraries that contact me on my web site, www.songofthecrow.com. Click on caitlin@unbridledbooks.com to make your request. Also, a downloadable reading guide posts in May.

Thank you for your support.
