Dear Reader,

Along my path to a better life, I have had the opportunity to share my experiences and insights with people from all walks of life. It wasn't long before I began coaching or sponsoring many of them. Some would share my healing methods with their therapists, many of whom would ask to meet me. At first, it was quite surprising to me how professional people in the psychiatric field were interested in my opinions and insights. Even more amazing, they began using these methods to help their own patients heal their childhood wounds. My intention in writing this book, THE PROBLEM WAS ME, is to bring those same methods to a broader base. With the help of Dr. Abraham Twerski's professional wisdom, we have pooled our resources together to create this book.

Sometimes we act in ways that do not always make sense as we hurt ourselves and others. We feel compelled to listen to the destructive inner voice in our head. Making sense of our actions is like trying to figure out a jigsaw puzzle. This book will allow you to put the pieces together. Also this book will shed light for family and friends who do not understand how their own loved ones can reject happiness and help whenever it is offered. Finally this book can provide some with a blueprint, a blueprint to give their children the healthy messages that may have been denied to many of them.
