Living in a trailer in the American Southwest, I attended twelve schools in eleven years. MOONLIGHT ON LINOLEUM is the story of growing up the oldest of six girls. My mom was a wild rose who struggled with marriage, motherhood and sobriety. She often put me in charge of my sisters while she sought solace in local watering holes, a pastime she dubbed "visiting Timbuktu."
My memoir explores the landscapes of hope, despair and redemption.
