Dear Librarians,

When I set out to write adventure stories about a poodle named Pansy, I wanted to celebrate the spirit of curiosity, the excitement of travel, and the virtue of teamwork — all in a way that children could enjoy. I am proud of my latest book, PANSY IN PARIS, and I hope you'll want to share it with young readers.

Pansy and her best friend, a little girl named Avery, are summoned by the Mayor of Paris to help figure out who is stealing paintings from the museum. Using their powers of observation and their spirit of adventure, they solve the mystery and catch the thief. In the process, they take in many of the unique sights of the city and learn that when solving a problem, two heads are better than one.

I believe that Pansy's story — illustrated beautifully by Virginia Best — will appeal to kids and parents alike.
