Dear Librarians,

What would you do if you woke up one morning and couldn't remember anything about your life?

Including who you are.

Querry Genn, the narrator of my YA science fiction novel SURVIVAL COLONY 9, lives in a future world devastated by global wars. He's a member of a small group of survivors who travel the desert waste in search of food, shelter, and protection from the identity-stealing monsters that appeared at wars' end. And due to an accident, his past has been wiped clean.

Teens read to discover who they are — so they'll respond to Querry's search for himself in a world where survival is uncertain and you're never sure who you can trust.

I'm available to meet with book groups and writing groups in southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as parts of Ohio and West Virginia. I also love to talk to librarians about the ways science fiction novels like SURVIVAL COLONY 9 can inspire young readers.
