Dear Reader,

I did not want to be one of those people who believe in ghosts. Just grab the tinfoil and put a hat on my head, for goodness sakes!

The problem is, however, that after accidentally spending two terrifying nights by MYSELF at a haunted hotel, it became clear to me that ghosts are...drum roll please... real.

It is after this event that my obsession with ghosts began. Mean ghosts, mad ghosts, happy ghosts and even ghosts filled with ennui. In HENRY & EVA & THE CASTLE ON THE CLIFF, I explore the relationship of ancestor ghosts to the newly orphaned Henry and Eva, a brother and sister, who must solve the mystery of their parent's untimely death.

Advanced readers have likened this to The Graveyard Book meets The Goonies. Influenced heavily by Hamlet, my favorite play, our protagonists must decide whether to seek vengeance or let be.
