Dear Reader, In TARGET we go back to Pointe Judah, Louisiana, a little bayou town I introduced last year in BODY OF EVIDENCE. I didn’t expect to write more than one book about the folks in that town, with names like Duhon, Boudreaux and Lachance, but when the book was finished, I just had to spend more time with them. Almost two decades ago, a man called Colin, who controlled an isolated community supposedly dedicated to the simple life, completed a sinister plan when he exterminated his followers. For his plan to work, everyone else had to die. But three children slipped through his fingers–with his secrets. Nick Board and the two sisters, Sarah and Aurelie, were those children. Today they live quietly in Point Judah–until the bodies of those Colin murdered are uncovered and that past nightmare forces the friends into the open. To survive they must elude Colin, but he intends them to take his secrets to their graves, and soon. Complicating the stakes, Nick is in love one of the two sisters who escaped death with him. Aurelie and Sarah are both in love with Nick . . .
