Home Author Archive For Librarians Authors: Get Included Eli Gottlieb Dear Reader, I didn't know when I sat down to write my second novel NOW YOU SEE HIM, that I would end up with what people are now calling a "literary thriller", which drives swiftly forward while meditating on celebrity in America, on marriage, on lust, and what it is that can provoke otherwise peaceable people to acts of shattering violence. Nor did I have any idea that I would end up with a book which dwells on what it actually means to father someone biologically as opposed to spiritually. I've always loved books and movies that combine genres—psychological thrillers like Hitchock, or the novels of Graham Green, that mix driving plots, vivid characters and high visual or literary style.
