Dear Reader,
This year I’ve taken readers to the swamps of Louisiana for FEVER MOON and back to Zinnia, Mississippi for HAM BONES. Now, with REVENANT, I’m writing about a place I knew intimately—the Mississippi Gulf Coast, pre-Katrina.
Carson Lynch, my newest character, is a newspaper reporter, and so was I, back in the '70s when newspapering was a "calling." But, unlike Carson, I never caught a story like "the Bridal Veil Killer."
After five bodies wearing bridal veils are discovered beneath the parking lot of a notorious Biloxi nightclub, Carson becomes involved in a complex case from the 1980s. When the killer returns with a new victim, Carson uncovers the clues that can stop him—if he doesn’t kill her first.
I’m running a "bridal story contest" on my website and giving away free copies of this book and several others. Check it out at www.carolynhaines.com
