I never understood the power of food in our culture and lives until I started writing DINING WITH JOY. Not only is "food" something for our bodies, but also for our spirits. Jesus said, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me." What a challenge that was to me as a follower of Jesus and as a story teller.
