Lynn Hoffman

Dear Reader,

"BANG BANG is absolutely charming, and sure to enrage the NRA." Kirkus Reviews.

I wrote BANG BANG for two reasons. The first was that I live in a city where there's one gun death a day and you can buy a gun--illegal or stolen--for a few dollars on the street. I needed someone who could fight against all the smug folks who make this possible.

The second reason is that I like strong, sexy, creative women and I thought it would be fun to imagine one who was leading the charge. As you probably know, books have a way of telling authors what they want to be. In the end, BANG BANG turned out to be a novel of personal transformation as much as it was about guns, sex, wine and crime.

Please drop me a line and let me know your thoughts about BANG BANG by writing my publisher at publisher@kunati.com. My publisher, Kunati, is giving away five signed copies of BANG BANG to five of you, and they'll pass on all the messages.

I will visit any book group within driving distance of Philadelphia. If it's too far for me to drive and you don't want to send your LearJet, I'll be glad to visit your club by phone. For BANG BANG's video trailer and lots more chat about guns, wine (I'm a wine critic and writer!), love and crime in the streets, go to www.kunati.com/interview-with-lynn-hoffman-an.

"Brilliant." Booklist starred review.

Thanks,
Lynn Hoffman
