Dear Reader,
When Colin Douglas, a crime writer, begins having nightmares, he realizes the cause is something that happened almost 40-years before when he and some of his high school friends used to camp by the Mississippi River south of Baton Rouge. After one of their outings, their popular Spanish teacher was found murdered in an old cemetery across the River Road from the campsite. Now, years later, Colin returns to Baton Rouge to confront his fears and finds that only one of his old friends, Blaize, is still in town. Prodded by Colin, Blaize reluctantly helps Colin confront Colin's demons and find the solution to the still-unsolved crime.
Years ago, when my boyhood friends and I used to camp on the levee, a female professor was murdered on the grounds of a nearby plantation, and a university dean was arrested. This was the inspiration for THE LEVEE.
Free, signed copies of THE LEVEE will be sent to five readers who e-mail me at Mndmastr@aol.com and answer a question about the Alan Graham series. E-mail me for the question!
