Dear Reader, I'm so happy to introduce my novel, LOVE AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS. It tells the story of Eve, a woman who's eight months pregnant when she discovers that her husband has been having an emotional affair with another woman for the past year. Though there was no sexual contact, as Eve learns more about what did happen, she starts to wonder if there are worse infidelities than sex. As a practicing marriage and family therapist as well as a novelist, I was particularly interested in exploring this topic. The novel is a natural pick for book clubs, as it tends to generate lots of discussion about the nature of intimacy, fidelity, and monogamy.
